LunarGameForge.pro is a boutique game studio on Wellington Street. We design custom tabletop and digital games, run structured playtest labs, and host sold-out game nights for the Collingwood community.
How we work
From loose idea to table-ready game
Every project follows the same field-tested route. No mystery, no scope creep — just clear checkpoints from the first sketch to the final print run.

Discovery workshop
A 90-minute session at the studio where we map your theme, audience, and target play time. You leave with a one-page design brief. From AU$180.
- 02
Prototype build
We produce a rough playable prototype within 2–3 weeks using paper components and print-and-play cards so mechanics can be tested fast and cheaply.
- 03
Playtest lab
Four moderated sessions with real players from our Collingwood testing pool. We log balance data, friction points, and rules-clarity notes after each round.
- 04
Production handoff
Final rulebook, print-ready art files, and a manufacturing spec sheet. We stay on call through your first print run at no extra charge.

Book our moderated testing room with a curated group of 6–8 players, camera capture, and a written feedback report delivered within 48 hours.

We plan and run private game nights and studio events — table setup, taught rules, snacks, and a host for up to 24 guests in our Wellington Street space.

Working with us
Not at all. Plenty of clients arrive with only a theme or a feeling for the kind of game they want. The workshop exists to turn that spark into a concrete one-page brief, so a half-formed idea is exactly what we expect.
You do. Every custom design engagement transfers full IP to you on final payment. We keep the right to list the project in our portfolio unless you ask us to keep it confidential, which we're happy to do.
Playtest lab & events
Yes. You're welcome to observe from our side room, or we can stream the session to you if you're interstate. We ask that you stay off the table itself so testers behave naturally and the data stays clean.
Weekends fill up two to three weeks out, especially in spring. Weeknight slots are usually available with a week's notice. A 30 percent deposit locks in your date and is fully refundable up to seven days before.
